Hello guys! This is my first post here on a new blog platform. Say goodbye to blogger or .blogspot. I am now Mr. Wordpress’s user :-). For the past few weeks i took time to familiarize myself with Wordpress. What I do is I install WordPress package inside my computer server. If you are “newbie” don’t get afraid with word “server”. Actually everyone can have their own server as long as you have a computer. The simplest server i found is Http file server HFS. See Raymond.cc post about that little tiny server.

Why do i install Wordpress inside my computer? The first reason is i don’t have permanent internet connection lol.I also can avoid myself from wasting my hosting bandwidth since its limited. I can screw up my template or database without any fear of losing it. Its good for theme testing purposes.

Installing Wordpress Inside Computer As Simple As ABC

There are three basic parts

1. Installing Server ( I am using Wamp Server)

2. Setting up the MySql database

3. Installing Wordpress

1. Installing Server ( I am using Wamp Server)

Download Wamp server from original website www.wampserver.com . Xampp server also do the same. In this tutorial i am using Wamp server since it comes with build in MySql and PHPMyAdmin (Database Manager). After finished downloading Wamp server, follow this installation steps. I skip few basics steps.

Hit finished and your server is ready!
