This is just for fun actually. I just download i-portable ftp from Softpedia, the installer is SFX rar archive. I notice that Softpedia have put their logo to replace the default logo. So i was thinking to make my own logo also. So what i do is i fire up my PE Explorer and edit the resources.

How To?

Firstly download the evaluation version of PE-Explorer from Heaventools.com. Finished installing the PE-Editor go to File>Open open your SFX rar archive installer. Find this icon on the menu bar and click it. It will parse the resource including picture and dialog box.

Now its time to add your own logo. Notice that PE-Explorer has parsed the resources according to the categories. Go to bitmap folder and double click on the BMP 101

Create your own logo with size 93X302 and save them with .BMP extension or Bitmap. Your logo has to match this format otherwise you will screw up your winrar file. Finally just replace your default winrar sfx archive logo with yours.
