“Registry editing has been disabled by system administrator”. This is possibly cause by a virus that change the default value of your regedit settings in gpedit.msc . How to fix it?

To repair this you just need to tweak back to your old gpedit.msc setting. to change the value simply go to start>run> and type in gpedit.msc in the box.

Before this I already wrote an article on how to enable back command prompt that has been disable by administrator. Certain people can make it work but most of them complain that it doesn’t work anymore. The registry fixer seems to be work only for a while. I am suggesting you to scan your computer using online kaspersky scanner or using ESET NOD32 Antivirus and Smart Security v4 Free SysRescue Recovery Live CD. Searching on the internet brought me only few information on how to repair the command prompt problem. You can also try this gpedit.msc method. There is an option for command prompt also.
